We plan on releasing a macOS/ARM build of REAPER around the time that Apple makes consumer hardware available. We currently provide REAPER builds for armv7 and aarch64 on Linux, so we anticipate that the macOS ARM port will be straightforward.
Having said that, whether or not legacy x86 plug-ins will be able to be supported is unclear; we have not seen details about how the emulation that will be available will be implemented.
